FUNCTIONAL JOB TITLE: Senior Logistics Analyst

Position Description:
Senior Logistics Analyst working with the Government ILS manager in a US Army Program Management Office.  Works with manufacturers of assigned material systems on technical data deliverables such as the Provisioning Parts List (PPL), the Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists (RPSTL) and Electronic Technical Manuals (ETM), interactive training course ware and technical data packages.  Produces Supportability Strategies and Material Fielding Plans.  Plans and coordinates logistics demonstrations for new equipment.  Develops and coordinates all documents required for Type Classification and Materiel Release of assigned systems at MS C such as Product Definition Data, Basis of issue Plans (BOIP), Production Readiness Reviews, and the Transportability Assessment Approval.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Recent experience with Army acquisition logistics in a Program Management office required.
  • 8 years experience directing, developing, and performing logistics management activities for material programs in development.
  • Experience with the entire spectrum of integrated logistics support (ILS) functions (maintenance planning; manpower and personnel; supply support; support and test equipment; training and training devices; technical data; computer resources support; and packaging, handling, storage, transportation, and facilities).
  • Specialized areas of expertise include maintenance allocation charts, electronic technical manuals, logistics demonstrations, sustainment planning and materiel release procedures.
  • Must be proficient at the creation, modification, and management of program-related documents and other products utilizing the Microsoft Office suite of office automation software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
