Quality Assurance Program

Ability to monitor and maximize quality

The Seaport-e customers demand and deserve quality products and services and can expect Mayvin to provide the same.  Mayvin believes that providing quality professionals that routinely produce quality work is the key to our success.  Our continuous process improvement philosophy enables us to integrate lessons learned and sustain successful performance on all contracts.  We provide a flexible, agile team able to rapidly execute the challenges of changing customer requirements.  Full corporate resources (Human Resources/Recruiting, Security, Contracts, Accounting/Finance, IT and others) will directly support all TOs.

Mayvin's approach to quality consists of a system of tracking, multi-level reviews, internal and external product coordination, and feedback to ensure that the final product is of the highest quality (both technically and structurally) and meets the customer's stated requirements.  We will implement unscheduled periodic quality reviews that are executed by all levels of leadership.  The reviews will ensure product content, sourcing, and structure is adequate.  If an issue with quality is identified, the leadership will discuss the quality issue with the on-site PM and a solution to prevent future quality issues will be developed and implemented.

The Mayvin PM is the primary individual responsible for supervising our quality control function.  They will have the authority to review, correct, provide suggestions for input, and define the government approved format and content that ultimately will be forwarded to the client leadership.  They will frequently review our overall performance, as measured against the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan-established performance standards and customer feedback, in order to initiate actions to mitigate or eliminate substandard performance.  Our strong management philosophy will ensure that quality is exceptional.

Mayvin will employ automated tools, metrics collection and tracking, and regular status meetings to monitor and control costs on task orders to ensure that we are within the authorized funding for each task order.  Our accounting systems and procedures were designed to effectively support the work of our PMs.  We will also make use of project management methodologies and tools to perform accurate estimation of project costs, continuously monitor cost elements during project execution and conduct risk analysis to anticipate problems and avoid surprises, as well as manage changes to project scope cost and schedule using our Project Change Control process.  This process ensures the government receives timely alerts when unforeseen events impact task execution and that customer approved changes are clearly communicated to the team.  The results of this detailed, proven tracking regimen form the centerpiece of senior management reviews, both internally and with the customer.
