Nov 5, 2010: Camber Corporation Partners with The Mayvin Consulting Group for Mentor-Protégé Program
(Arlington, VA) Camber Corporation is excited to announce a new strategic partnership with The Mayvin Consulting Group, Inc. as part of the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Mentor-Protégé Program. The Mentor-Protégé program is designed to improve the performance of DHS contracts and subcontracts, foster the establishment of long-term business relationships between DHS large prime contractors and small business subcontractors, and strengthen subcontracting opportunities and small business goals at DHS. To support this effort, Camber will help Mayvin find new growth opportunities and interagency support opportunities, refine organizational processes and procedures, and participate in ongoing government programs that will result in mutually beneficial outcomes. The collaboration between the two companies will offer a unique blend of capabilities to DHS and other organizations.
This partnership will initially focus on the Department of Homeland Security's EAGLE II program to bring additional value to DHS while assisting with the development of a small business and strengthening the national economy. Under the 3-year agreement, Camber will assist Mayvin in competing for other contract awards and related business opportunities with DHS. Additionally, Camber will provide technical and managerial guidance through their subject-matter experts to help ensure that Mayvin is prepared for near-term success as well as long-term growth.
