The Mayvin Consulting Group, Inc. has a requirement for a Budget Analyst to support a high visibility Department of Defense organization. The organization provides critical capabilities for lethality, command and control, situational awareness and survivability/force protection into operationally committed units. This position requires external contacts with various Government personnel including buyers, contracting officers, program managers, auditors, and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) personnel. The consultant will also work together on a team to develop cross-functional solutions with the intent of delivery into the theater of operations to meet the war fighter's needs.

Key Duties:
- Assist in the following budgetary support services: planning, programming, budget, formulation, and budget execution planning.
- These services include, but are not limited to budget request submittals; budget obligation preparation and execution tracking; and preparation and follow-up of Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPR).
- Assist day-to-day operation to ensure the fiscal resources provided the REF is executed as intended.
- Track the fiscal records of the REF
- Support the Business Manager in preparing briefing material for organizational senior leadership and Congressional or Pentagon inquiries
- Ensure compliance with periodic reporting requirements and quality assurance of report integrity and fidelity
- Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or a Science field
- Ideal candidate will have training certificates in PPBS and Fiscal Law or Appropriations Law
- 10 years experience as budget analyst working with federal funding
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
