January 24, 2012: Mayvin's CEO to Serve on American University Alumni Board
(Washington, DC) Congratulations are in order for Mayvin's CEO, Lisa Rosenthal who was recently selected to be a member of the American University Alumni Board. As a member of the board, Lisa will have the opportunity to play an active role in guiding the efforts and initiatives of the Office of Alumni Relations. Required duties of Alumni Board members include: Attendance and participation in Alumni Board meetings, university events, and participation as a member of an AUAB committee or task force. Members must also be knowledgeable ambassadors for American University and the Alumni Association and will reach out and engage fellow alumni in AU programs and events.
The American University Alumni Board was established in 1993, and is made up of a dedicated group of volunteers who work to actively engage other alumni in the life of the university. Members have the opportunity to play a key role in guiding the efforts and initiatives of the office of Alumni Relations and to serve as regional, national, and international ambassadors of American University.
Ms. Rosenthal is a proud graduate of American University earning her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Policy and Political Science and Masters in Business Administration. She is eager to begin her duties on the board and help other alumni of the university. "It was an absolute honor to be selected onto the Alumni Board of Directors for American University." said Rosenthal. "As an alumna who is very familiar with the university and proud of its accomplishments and community outreach, I look forward to remaining part of the American University family for many years to come."
